Creative Escape Workshops- Terms and conditions
Registration Policy
We commit to do our best to reach the minimum attendance for each workshop. Class size varies depending on location and instructors wishes. Registrations are based on availability, and are first come, first serve. If classes are oversubscribed, you can request to be added to a waiting list. A deposit, or the full tuition, is due at time of registration to reserve your space in class.
Cancellation Policy
If it's necessary for either an instructor or Creative Escape Workshops (CEW) to cancel a workshop due to illness, inclement weather, insufficient enrollment or other unavoidable reason beyond our control, you will receive a full refund of tuition [This does not cover other related expenses you may have incurred (related to travel/accommodation/materials).]
Reserve your place by paying half the workshop tuition as a deposit (for example: if the workshop tuition is $500, the deposit is $250 and the balance is $250). The balance is due prior to 30 days before beginning of workshop. At the time of registration you can choose to pay just the deposit, or the full tuition amount. Payment may be made by check, credit/debit card or PayPal. See Registration page.
Any and all cancellations must be made in writing. Please contact Carolyn@CreativeEscapeWorkshops.com
Once your place has been reserved, there will be a non-refundable charge of $75 for cancellations more than 30 days prior to the start of a workshop. This is to offset the considerable time already invested in registration, accounting and correspondence with participants. Hope you understand.
For cancellations less than 30 days before the start of workshop you will forfeit your entire deposit unless we can fill your empty spot from the wait list or you can find another artist to take your place. If you have already paid in full, the 50% deposit will be retained, and the balance will be refunded.
No refunds for no-shows or withdrawals after a workshop has begun, regardless of the reason.
We are very sorry, but we cannot be responsible for issuing refunds for classes missed due to illness, bad weather, last-minute emergencies or conflicts that cant be controlled.
It is recommended that you purchase travel insurance, which can protect you by refunding monies paid if you need to cancel your trip due to unforeseen events and emergencies. Travel insurance is very affordable and can protect you in other ways as well. Available from many reputable sources online.
